The Drinkable book- a book that purifies water !
In 2014, American scientists and designers who participated in the initiative “Water is life”, created a book that purifies water.
The “drinkable book” or potable book contains 20 pages that actually have special filters. Pages contain silver and copper nano-particles that kill bacteria in the water passing through the book.
This feature has been crowned with success at the 250 th national conference of the American Chemical Society in Boston, USA, announced August 19 BBC.
What each and everyone of us can do to help protect the environment?
- According to your needs, always try to choose recycled paper or paper from responsible management of world forests. Recycled paper requires 20 times less trees and 100 times less water to produce. This way you save our natural resourses directly.
- Print double-sided and important messages only.
- During presentations use a projector instead of paper hand-outs.
